An unseasonably warm and sunny, cloudless day, perfect for a hike in the Nature Preserve.

Although the colorful autumn wildflowers of yellow and purple were gone, the silver sage was in full bloom.

The mountain views, canyons, arroyos, rocks and boulders, and wonderful trees are feasts for the eyes and soul. And as always, the stillness and solitude evoke deep feelings and gratitude for the awesomeness of nature.
