Bright and sunny for our explorations today. We followed a new route up a steep slope, along a plateau beneath the amazing rock cliffs, and then a strenuous scramble to the top of the mesa.

The rocks, lichens, trees, cacti, and shrubs were wonderful companions, and the vista at the top was awesome and inspiring.
