I am very much loving my new work, especially Inland, Ontology, and A Joyful Song. Working large allows so much more to happen. And making up 1/2 gallons of paint from dispersions, binder, and thickener to apply as background colors with texture is challenging and fun.

Another wonderful experience was the last bit of A Joyful Song. The painting seemed complete in many ways, but I felt that something was missing. A few strokes of deep gold paint made it come alive and finished the process. It is always magical when that happens.
