Our equinox hike today was immensely expansive and uplifting.

The wind was quite chilly, but the sun was out the entire time, and seeing many signs of spring, such as buds on the various shrubs, was very inspiring.

Although the trail is steep and rocky, with some strenuous up-and-downs, it is probably the best that the Eldorado Nature Preserve has to offer, with dense woods, open meadows, interesting rocks and boulders, and incredible views.
