Yesterday was the best day of the year so far, weather-wise. Bright, warm sunshine, and a cool breeze.

We hiked Trail 401, easily the best one in the area. It is definitely strenuous, though, with lots of loose rocks and stones, and steep inclines.

But the nature energies, rocks and boulders, and vistas make the effort very worthwhile. And there were even a few wildflowers to brighten things more.

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful area less than 20 minutes from our home.
