Our hike today in Deer Creek Canyon connected me deeply to nature, the earth, and spirit. It was wonderfully warm and sunny for nearly mid-November, and my usual tee shirt and shorts were adequate for the occasion.
The reflections in the water offered a different perspective, and helped me to see things differently.
The rock formations were a reminder of the enduringness of nature. They will still be here long, long after I am gone.
The experience served to remind me of what is meaningful and enduring, that which uplifts and inspires. It was an opportunity to re-dedicate myself to the path of openness, compassion, kindness, and generosity, and to be grateful for many blessings of love and life.
