An unseasonably warm tee-shirt day in the high country, so we set off on our favorite trail in the Eldorado Nature Preserve. Despite lots of mud, it was wonderful to experience the stillness, expansive views, rocks, trees, birds, and deep connection with nature. Such a contrast to the horror of these times, and those who rape and pillage the land to fuel their insatiable greed.
