A beautiful day for connecting with nature, spirit, the elements, rocks, trees, and other creatures. There were even a few wildflowers to add to the experience, along with an encounter with a gopher snake and a huge flock of piñon jays.

But the most magical event involved a raven. Whilst at our 100-mile vista lunch stop, it flew overhead and talked to us. Certainly knowing we were watching, it then executed a magnificent 360-degree barrel roll as if to say, “Check this out, friends!” Awesome and deeply moving.
