Explored new off-trail areas on our hike today. Some strenuous steep slopes with loose footing, but the adventure was exciting and uplifting.

We climbed up to the rock cliffs, and traversed just below them until ascending the chimney to the top of the mesa. What a marvelous place, and so close by.
