We hiked a different Nature Preserve trail today, and although it was fairly dry, there was lots of evidence of strong water run-off from yesterday’s storm. The trees, shrubs, and cacti were vibrant, grateful for the moisture.

Despite being long with strenuous rocky descents and ascents, the rocks, plants, vistas, and stillness were deeply nourishing.
