Sunny and seasonally warm for our off-trail adventure. The magnificence of Nature is everywhere in the backcountry, and the stillness and solitude were deeply nourishing.

Lots of ravens cavorting amongst the cliffs, and wintering birds such as Mountain Chickadees and Flickers added to the experience.
