After four months and a week, finally got into the backcountry today. How wondrous to be immersed in the glory of Nature!

It was deeply connecting, with even an epiphanous moment. The solitude, stillness, and beauty were enormously appreciated. And I am incredibly grateful to have been able to do this after so long a layoff.
