After a break of almost 1-3/4 years, I have begun painting again!

This is the first piece to emerge. It is titled “Winter Flame” and is 40×30 inches.

It is always interesting when such a long break occurs. I have to let go of expectations of ever painting again, and wait for the energy to manifest.

In the intervening time my creative pursuit has been photography, so visual expression has not been missing. But it is wonderful to be in the studio once again, throwing paint around and delighting in the process.
